Yes it does but I'm still able to work, but with a few more brakes.

Yes, I turn 62 and my body tries to find out how much resolve my mind can muster.

    You got that right.

I've got a neurosurgeon appointment for the second to find out what he wants to do about the shrinking hole where my sciatic nerve is being pinched.

Everyone should be emerging from their Summer break, if the weather ever gets below 100*.

Yes, of course. Autumn starts tomorrow afternoon.
Forecast high of 92F today with a heat index above 102F. Ouch.

    Nobody's goin' anywhere.

I hope it cools down a little before October the 6th. Heading up to the Ozarks and it will make for a much better ride if it cools down a little ! ! !

    Three days straight.........Rain ! ! !
It's looking like it may be a wet time up in the Ozark's as well for the 7th ! :dirtdog
Hopefully it clears up for the ride though, especially for the ride back home. Nine hours of riding in the rain will suck ! ! !

Not healing, so back surgery next week. Off work 4 weeks, so no RTB for me this year. No driving for at least 2 weeks.

Well, I did the Ride the Ozark's Rally. Left the house at 3:00pm, Thursday the 5th and got back Monday the 9th at 3:00pm. Rode 1773.2 miles and saw a lot of pretty country. The rally had a free concert. The band was Saliva. Not really my kind of music, but there were a lot of folks that liked it. Out of all the songs they played, I had heard of one ! Does that mean, I'm too old ? ? ? :imaposer

Feeling a little pain at the incision and where the instruments went into the spine. I'll be out walking later today. Just no twisting, bending or lifting over 10 pounds. This time I'll follow directions a lot better.

If Doc would let me drive I'd sit at the Paluxy crossing and watch the fun tomorrow.

New guy here. Moved back to Austin, Bee Cave/Drippin area, last year. Been riding off-road in Colorado and Utah last 17 years. Sold my 300xc 3 weeks ago and could not take not having a bike, picked up a 1190r. Looking to meet some new friends for Texas rides and maybe some trips back to CO and UT. Looking forward to meeting y’all!
