I think I could explain that one....
Exactly. Wouldn’t a nice scooter be more appropriate??
I ride pretty aggressively. My stock rear got a nail at 400 miles when I got the tkc 70. The stock front was down to the wear indicators at 4k miles and it was a glorified touring tire. I love the tkc 70 it is awesome on the street and confident on everything except mud.
For the money, I'd rather run the Original Metzeler Tourance, not the EXP or the Next, which I have found not to last or handle as well as the original. On my BMW R1150 GSA, I would consistently got 6000+ miles out of the rear and I've gotten 8800 miles a couple of times. Compared to the TKC70, the Metzeler is just about the same price, and in the 150/70R-17 the Metzeler is cheaper on rockymountainatcmc.com. It has been proven on and off road many times. Both are radial design.
I get 7000+ out of Full Bore M40 rear tires. Can't complain for the money.
I do a lot of commuting that limits how fast I can go for a lot of those miles. Some folks have said I ride kinda quick at other times....
Yup. Just ordered a set for Mexico. Leaving in two weeks. Gonna get in some mountain Ricky Racing and a bit of dirt. And some Bacanora. 6k miles would be great. Not likely, though.
Won't fit the new BMW's or KTM's ! 170/60R17's on the new bikes.
Depends on that right hand ! ! !
Well, I AM right handed.
Mexico roads are a wee bit tough on the tires.
