Started raining at our house around 5:30am. Still going now. Varies from slow steady to heavy. My lawn lives for another week :clap

Started raining at my house in north austin about 6 am, tried riding to work via mopac during a lull and hit heavy rain instead. turned around and took I 35 and was mostly dry. Nary a drop downtown but sadly a rider was lost this am north of campus after being hit by what looks like a left turning cage.

Hey, guys and gals. I know it is the summer doldrums but Rod has 3 sweet bikes in his garage. I just saw then in the flesh today.

I'd own that F650Dakar had I not just re-purchased my KLR , part by part. The black F650Gs looks sweet and Phil's big Veestrom is a good deal, too. All 3 would make folks nice bikes for not much money. If ya know anybody looking, call Rod.

And he just got in a load of almost new 42-44 jackets with some 36 pants. Some of you little fellers can make a deal. He's got a helluva garage full right now.

Dakars are nice bikes and are pretty much bullet proof. I liked mine and it did just fine on a trip to CA. and back

    I need to find a 125 - 250 that I can trade a shotgun for now
