It is really strange the tips haven't come back. Probably diabetic related along with being really cold for a long time. Whatever it is, this shit needs to end.

You gotta keep circulation in the tip. It won't work right otherwise.

Well I think I might be to blame for the weather. Got in from Anchorage Sat. May have brought some cold with me. So i am a bikeless ADVer in Granbury for two weeks. Jelous of your winter riding. Looking forward to learning where all the local dirt is when I retire here. Lastly i now have to talk parents into a night at loco coyote.

Well, that was a little off-color. But I see the point.

Fucking maroons. In other news, slowoldguy has managed to create a fb page called The Texas Rally Raid. He has impressed himself enough to only talk about himself in the 3rd person. He is amused.

Makes me think of "Tri tips" Santa Maria style BBQ. I'm surprised nobody mentioned that yet.

Now to do something fun today, like change the alternator belt on my wife's R1200R she never rides, and I'm about to claim as mine. Or maybe go explore some of the roads I'm just now discovering around Marble Falls. Finished the rest of the annual full service on the two R1200's yesterday so nothing else to clean, wax, change oil in or generally waste time on.

You can go pay for and pick up my new bike in RR for me. That's something to do.

You don't need a new one, you'd just go get it scratched, wet and dirty, crossing 4' deep rivers with it. Give a whole new meaning to water injection, water cooling and full immersion baptism.

I can pick it up and keep it here for ya for awhile if you've payed for it :-) It would be happy parked next to my 2006 WR450. They'd both catch up on their rest. Call me if ya need help with it
