The only thing I can think of that's more boring than playing golf is watching other people play golf on TV.

Any ideas: how to carry clubs on a bike? I'm thinking Par 3/Exec course gear, 5,7 irons, PW, putter...

I started to try golf but…I just don’t have time for it. I don’t mind watching the last 5 or 6 holes of a big tournament but I’ve given up trying to play it….for now.

I’ll tell you what’s fun. My younger brother lives up in Oregon and has a couple acre yard with trees and other stuff. We play waffle ball golf when we go up. You pick a tree or a bush or a stump and try to hit it while counting strokes as we go. It’s a kick and a good way to pass the time BSing and tipping a few. The cool thing is that the ball can hit a car or the house (or a kid) and it won’t hurt it.

I guess it depends on who's car and who's house we're talking about. :evil

I actually played OK the times I went. The problem is that I don't have time to practice to keep the game at the "just OK" level or the 4 or 5+ hours it takes to play a round. I'll take it back up some day. :thumb

I did try it once, and yeah I got a couple of good shots in, but I was pissed off cause I was only about a hour from my favorite riding places, Cle Elm Wash. The whole time I was bitching to my buddys, who I ride with, we should be riding, we should be riding :evil I couldn't do golf, it would cut in to my riding time, which I don't get enough of.

My Dad started playing golf after he had his prostate removed due to cancer. This explains the golf.

Sorry. I don't watch any sport in which three of the top players have last names that are verbs.
