Just got a call from Gerg's old company. They've put me on-call for this weekend, so we're now out unless something changes.

    Fucking weather. :bluduh

    Visalia, 15 minutes ago.

The heaviest rain I've seen in a few. Turned to hail. The main streets can't drain the water and it's over the sidewalks. Parking lots are lakes three feet deep in places.

    Jebus.

That means it'll be over WARPED in maybe 2 to 3 hours. Get ready studs.

I'm in Visalia. Anyone caught out, in trouble or just had enough can stay at my house tonight. Hot showers, food, plenty of room, blankets, couches and pillows. Then bug out tomorrow when it's clear. No strings attached. Party friendly.

I'll check every 20 or so. PM me and I'll give you my address and phone number.

I'd hate to see a sticky in Inmates tomorrow. There's no way in Hell I'd be on asphalt with knobbies now.

Hey Stu! Tell my ex I'm sorry it didn't work out. It can blame me.

Then take it out and fuck it like the animal it is tomorrow.

Picked up a new license plate for the mighty 950 SE... :1drink

I'm going to leave in the AM, hopefully the weather clears up.

The campground may be "interesting" at 7pm tonight. 100% chance of rain and thunderstorm....

PS That's awful good of you to offer to host folks. :thumb

FUCK that noise! I'll sleep nice and warm at the parents place tonight.

I'll get on the road by 7 tomorrow and see you bastiges mid afternoon.

I almost feel bad for the mo mo's who are out trying to prove how adventurous they are. There is a fine line between Adventure Rider and Retarded Rider.

Yeti, I know falls in the later of the two.

Al. Thats pure ass. Id say Im going to miss ya, but ....well..... hope to see you there. :freaky

I was really looking forward to this trip. Things have been stressed at work for both of us lately, and a weekend away was going to be good tonic for that. Now, in all likelihood, I'll get to spend at least part of it laying in a foot of slush. :baldy

Everybody be safe and enjoy what you can enjoy.

Looking at the radar, they're about to get hit again within the hour. Jeez that sucks.

The rig is under a foot of snow in the back yard and the clutch smelled really funny after working it a bit trying to get it up the hill...

Humm,,,got a hunch I may have to pass on this one. :cry Will know for sure in the morning.

Hi. My name is Bill and I am a weather wimp...

A smug, self-satisfied, warm and comfortable weather wimp. :deal :D Leaving Monday AM for THC by way of Big Bend. The weather currently looks quite favorable. :ksteve

Y'all stay safe, and mind the hypothermia. Best to be proactive on that, sharing a sleeping bag with another soggy advrider would be icky. Well, there may be the rare exception I suppose. Vanishingly rare. :sweeti

Cheers and hope to see y'all soon somewhars else. :freaky

Ok folks, you'll just have to tune in over HERE for the pictures and stories. I just walked in the door and started the thread in Ride Reports.
A damn fine bunch of SURVIVORS!

If you were an attendee please tell your story over there!

Oh, and we have a volunteer already for Warped IX so it WILL happen. But the stories of Warped VIII will be around campfires for a while to come!

For the few that ordered shirts and didn't make it, PM me your address and I'll get them to you in a few weeks. I'm going to be laid up for a bit but once I'm up and about I'll get them out.

    Tired, Dirty, finally warming up,
    Gerg
