    Hi!

I'll keep it short and simple.
I've been scouring the web for a Honda Sabre - VF700S and they're few and far between. On paper, it seems like the bike I want.

Before I continue this endless search or worse yet, do something stupid like drive several hours to get one sight unseen or buy one on eBay and have it shipped I'd like to actually take a look at one up close and personal. Swing a leg over the seat and see if it fits, get familiar with the layout of the mechanicals, chat about your ownership experience, etc.

Now obviously, they haven't been sold for almost as long as I've been alive so I can't just walk into the Honda dealership and do this.

Anyone in the D.C. metropolitan area have a couple minutes to spare?

Cool. His profile lists him as being in Harrisonburg.
    The In-Laws live there.

It also says he USED to own a 700, and now owns a 1100.
I'm gonna assume the frames are the same and therefore the ergonomics should be the same.

I'll shoot him a PM before the next time I head down there.

Welp, that idea is a bust.

Wife said "If you bring home a pile of shit instead of a bike, I'm leaving... Buy a newer bike and spent more than a grand or two on it."
I'm now seven grand lighter and I take delivery of a 2012 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom Adventure with 6500 miles on Friday.

    So much for saving money.

Have to wait a few days for the dealer to get some paperwork together because I'm doing my own DMV tag paperwork. That knocked a buck fifty off the final price.
