Nice tagging R!!
How is it running?
Im driving a 8' pickup of variable relibility. Leaving around 6am. Heading north on 23 from willis exit.
I can scoop you up, as long as you dont mine me riding a little slow.
That may have been Livingston County. It was hard to tell though (without a map).[/QUOTE]
I ended up back in the area today... I was thinking that it may indeed be just across the line into Livingston.. in either case. Good show sir.
Definately livingston co....but.thats cool. Just dont let it happen again...just kidding.
In your defense, tiplady ***IS*** on the wash co road comission map(ps. Its includedas part of your
Services to wash co.residents. Just stop by zeeb rd office.
Geez. Nobody got lesser farms yet? Its not even cold yet...if you have gerbing electric clothing, a one piece goretex suit and grip heat
Well, I got Lesser Farms, I just don't have the picture yet. Surely you'll trust me on this?? It's a long story.
I took off nice and early today to grab the tag: no Gerbing, Goretex, or heated grips; just good old Thinsulate, leather, goose down and ballistic nylon. Yeah! Now on my way out to the tag I saw another really cool tag to shoot. I parked the bike, jumped off, and reached for my backback to get the camera. NO BACKPACK! :eek1 I packed the camera in the morning, but took off without the backpack in my haste to get going. Well great, I guess I'll just salvage the morning by doing a ride with no tag. Then I decided to stop at Meijer's and buy a cheap or disposable digital camera. Well, you have to mail in the disposables. Who knows how long that might take. O.K., back to plan B: just ride. I did go right by the Lesser Farm and several other cool potential tags as well. Then I started thinking (watch out). I'm really close to my buddies house. I'll stop in and say hi, and if I'm lucky he'll have a digital camera for me to borrow. I did and he did, so I went back and shot the tag plus a new one. Then I turned around and headed back to my friend's house to return the camera. He told my he could E-mail me the shots. While thanking him for the use of his camera, he informed me that he could get the pictures to me right away - right away on Monday! He has no internet at home.
So there you have it. There is plenty of time for someone to get the last tag. The weather is great. If no one gets it before Monday, it's mine. That was my adventure for today.
Yo, Meijer's trails'
I believe I was there before you. 10:00am. I don't know if the shot I took contains a time and date stamp? Sorta looks like I lost. Where's the next tag?
As far south and west as you can think
Well, scorp, you did beat me to lesser. I wasnt there till 1.
I also think you got BRUCED. Might as well post up the brucing.
If you really feel its unfair, ill concede. It just means more tags to find.
I hope Desert Scorpion got this tag today and just hasn't had a chance to post yet.
P.S. to everybody with bmws
Siebenrock is now accepting american credit cards!
no more mailing euros to them for hard to get parts.
I used a visa card to order my new super sweet seat cover, and it was easy peasy...oh except for the fact my bank stopped the transaction because they thought it was fraud in germany.
siebenrock wrote rightaway and they were great.
but i cleared it with my bank for a 24hr window for that business, and a few days later deutchpost delivered my seatcover!
Well, here's my tag shot that proves I wasn't just blowing smoke.
It's quite obvious from the angle of the sun's shadows that it is exactly 10:33 am. But I guess I've been bruced.
So here is the tag I shot on the run from Lesser Farm up to my friends house off of N. Territorial Rd. It was shot on a pretty cool biker kind of road and the road name rhymes with biker.
It was so sunny this morning! no taggers?
you guys may have noticed i changed my OURYS to old man red foam grips, the kind i used to make fun of.
they definitely help with vibration sensitivity and still allow grip heat to conduct through to your hands.
What? Still no takers? It was 60deg today!
My cell phone doesnt have a UV filter...but you get the idea
Next up is yet another in the "Barn Series" of tags
This particular tag can be found on a road that shares its name with the last name of a guy who played guitar in the James Gang, The Eagles and also had a successful solo career (get out your music history books). It is centrally located in the northern portion of Washtenaw County (I did indeed make sure this time)
I was playing that old Joe Walsh tune in my head all the way out to this place.
Now I hope I can get that tune out of my head!
I shot this tag just as the heavy morning fog was lifting. This is a barn I wanted to get last weekend when I was cameraless. Think of the tune: "The farmer in the ____, the farmer in the ____. Location is northwest of Saline.
I guess my county corner tag has been effectively skipped.
Theres a pretty twisty dirt road out there named Mull road that is awesome. Oh well.
