Preparing to leave CO to move to NH. Work has prompted this move. Just got notice today that the appraisal is done and we are a go for a house in Pelham, NH. Let the fun begin.

FYI, pretty much anything south of Epsom is MA. :D

I have lots of family in the Pelham area. Grew up not too far from there.

Someone else on ADV recently moved to Pelham. Forget who it was.

A bit controversial but I personally consider it this way:

    :)

But 97% of the population of New Hampshire disagrees with my logic. I can say the best riding is above the line if that helps.

Pelham is still way less populated than where I am currently. 2010 census for Thornton, CO 118,000. Pelham, NH 12,000.

It's much more complex than that.

Draw a circle around Lincoln and Conway. That's Masshampshire North.

Draw a circle around Lake Winnipesaukee. That's Masshampshire Central.

Draw a diagonal line that starts in Hollis and ends just above New Rochester. That's Masshampshire South.

You will soon understand the term "Masshole", and learn to instantly recognize every style of Massachusetts licence plate. Don't even think of slowing down as the traffic light turns yellow, you will be rear ended.....

But there sure is some nice riding in VT and northern NH. :beer

    Good to know.

Also, both of us are more than happy to know about good riding as we aren't against going a long ways to get to it. Do it plenty here in CO.

Sound advice. I don’t run red Lights. Am almost rear ended every week.

@Cataract2 - Obviously you're invited to join our group in April for Puppy Dog! We plan on making it a 2 day overnighter deal going the entire length of it.

Coos Country is my favorite area to ride in. We'll have a cabin in the woods there one day.
Pretty much. Only exception is during winter time, it reverts to NH natives; for the most part. Summertime is just awful. Pahking lats ah fulla cahs.

For a shake down run between my wife and your group. Certainly! Will need to download the GPX and take a look at the route. When in April is it? Guess I should ask, is winter pretty much done in the north east and rain is washing away the salt by April?

April is no guarantee but we’ll have at least one warm weekend by then.

I lived out in Wheat Ridge back in the 90’s, now live in the northeast corner of Vermont! Welcome to the area, LOTS of riding here, definitely no comparison to Colorado tho!

Yeah, April is not the end of bad weather in the northeast by any means. There's almost always a bit of snow on the spring daffodils in May.

Which can make for fun riding on the back roads.

Just a reminder, Class 4 (not maintained) roads are closed to wheeled traffic from March 15 until May 1 (mud season). Guess they don't want us to tear it up too much when it's muddy. They did tell you we have five seasons, right?
