We've added a panel mount voltmeter. Same 3 wire connections so you can have the meter read direct from the battery.

This meter has much improved sunlight readability, it comes with an anti glare screen to squelch reflections and glare.

Does the regular voltmeter (non panel) also got improved readability ?

If not do you have picture of the back of the panel mount one to see if it can be mounted without drilling the panel.

    Thx

The panel mount has better sunlight readability than the surface mount.

Don't have a picture of the back but it will be full of rtv silicone with wires exiting, would not make a suitable mounting surface. You may be able to trim the flange down to have a flat surface for mounting.

I'm having an error with the store, it's saying:

An error occurred processing your card.
    Error code: 10101.
Error text: The transaction processed with the ID xxxxxxxxxxx(I changed that out) had a validation error:Incorrect Street Address and Zip Code..

    Is this a know problem?

    Thanks,

I put a temp meter on my k bike, just wrapped the probe with rubber tape to the radiator hose. Temp is dead on to my temp gun. Next time my bikes apart I'll epoxy to the fan switch.

Installed a voltmeter on a Ktm 690 enduro for a lynx fairing.

I added both the volt meter and temp gauge to the dash of my '92 BMW R100GS. With a bit of shaving to slightly shrink down the cases, they fit into the existing switch holes. Love the setup.

Any chance this can be adapted for those of who work in Celsius units? Might be an opportunity for you to expand further to overseas customers too (most of the world outside the US, really) who use the Celsius scale ...

Will likely pick up a voltmeter soon - depending on my above question, would like to bundle my purchase.

    Application is an 09 KTM 690 R

    cheers,

    CM

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately we don't have celsius meters at the moment.

With the recent addition of International First class mail packages, it could make sense. Shipping was typically the deal breaker with the small package the meter is shipped in.

Thanks for hooking me up John, ordered on Thursday and had it delivered and installed Saturday. Normally I wouldn't even mess with a VM on a thumper, but I've had 2 voltage regulators go bad, and that can be rough on my 12 O'clock Labs LED tail light processor board. A little epoxy and I'm good to go!

Looks good! You should have a fair bit of warning if the VR fails again, hope you are closer to home than when I had a VR failure:cry Down the highway 100 miles from home and the VM shows 9.3 volts, can't be good.

    Here ya go.

Got my panel mount voltmeter yesterday. Hooked it up to a battery to test it.
My multi meter reads 12.17 and my new panel mount Advmonster reads 12.45.
Is this amount of error normal for this meter?

Are you taking the measurement from the same place?
