I have been mowing the lawn with four stroke mower filled with old fuel from my KX.

Makes me smile every time I get a whiff of the fumes.:D

I have even thought about adding full synthetic 2t oil to the fuel when it gets strait unleaded just to get the smell.

I've heard that adding a little 2 stoke oil into the gas of 4 strokes is beneficial as a lubricant for carbs and fuel injectors and in reducing rust in tanks.Don't know what it d oes to the cats though.

It'd be fun to run it at Willow!! Sam Yamazaki did a DT1 in a TD/TR frame. More suitable than in the current shorttarck configuration. It's taking a Hiatus in my familyroom for now.

I could go for a 2 stroke forum, no doubt! I ride an airhead and 2 strokes. It would be nice to go to one site for all the info etc.

IMO there are enough Airhead posts to justify a specific forum. They can stack up a a rate that pushes less common threads to the second page before someone who might be interested sees them.
Just another way to look a it.

I would sure love to have a Kawasaki 350 triple. They sound sweet and are fast for a 350. Plus, they look so sweet. I'd also love to have the smaller 250 triple as well.

I really like the old school page and the variety I see in there. Even still, I have to agree that it would be great to have a 2-stroke page. The subject matter is easily overlooked here.

But what I would really like to see is a vintage/post vintage MX and enduro page. Someplace for the maico's czs, pentons, husky's, twinshock RM's and YZ465's and the like to park.

And in case you are wondering, I count 3 two strokes and 3-airheads among others.

    I like them all!

Nothing beats the smell of leaded gas and castor oil on a nice calm evening.
