There were six of us, a motley crew from Northern California's Bay Area. I think we're all long time ADV lurkers, rarely posting.

    Matt - the ringleader, teacher,
Andrew - a man willing to travel great distances for BBQ and, um, other comforts
Scott - a man who makes great BBQ
Ian - every group needs a sane person
Steve - the cool dude on the 12GS
Brad - your author, aka "Crash" and "Billionaire" (I did crash and I am not a billioniare)

Thursday nite, we all made tracks for Red Bluff and met up at the lovely Travel Lodge. Chance for me to meet Scott and Andrew. Find out me and Scott live a mile apart in Oakland and Andrew likes beer (me too!).

We head back to the Travel Lodge, meet Ian and then go to my room where we pass an 18yo around while we wait for Steve. The 18yo goes by the name of The Glenlivet. Just delicious. Too good for the paper cups we drank from (we're are amateurs I say!).

Here's what I see from my room in the morning. It makes me all tingly inside. (I'd type more, but hand is killing me, surgery in the morning).

(and, I need help uploading pics)

I'm disappointed, but it was by the paper cups.
