Prolly a bear, they can have a pretty earthy/pungent aroma about them.......or a Squach!

Pretty sure this is Sasquatch poop.......ok, maybe not.

I didn't want to say squantch but thats exactly what I was thinking. haha I didnt even want to check my mirrors. The smell was strong enough that I turned my head involuntarily. I guess it was closest to a deer or elk's musk gland but as if I stuffed my face in it and took a huge deep inhale. Nice bear poop! no tp didnt even wipe!

Found this poor guy the other day. Not sure if it's a deer or an elk.

Not everyday you see an "ATV" like this on the trail. (Trout Creek Trail South Hills). Forest Service is aware and trying to figure out who and how to remove it. Tow truck won't make it back here.

There have been several Sasquatch sightings in the Sullivan Lake area. A distinctive, powerful smell is a common occurrence, as is a sense of dread. I know a guy in Kettle Falls who would be interested in talking with you about it. PM me and I can hook you up (if you believe in that sort of thing.)

Those hills are full of ammunition bunkers and other cool shit from WW2. When I was a wee little tyke, my uncle used to take us all over up there to see them. Some were big enough to pull a truck into, others were small like that one.

Oh wow, really? I'd love to find some of the big ones. Wonder if they're still up there somewhere or if they were destroyed.

Apparently the driver didn't realize the PT in PT Cruiser stood for " Paved Terrain".

As a kid I spent all my summers on the North Oregon Coast in Hammond near the old town of Ft. Stevens (anyone know where that is?).

What is now part of Fort Stevens Historic Area used to be fenced off to the public, a big thing for us as kids was to "go behind the fence" to explore. We spent many full days wandering around exploring to find the old Batteries that were hidden in the brush.....................some small, some big and one underground that we could have easily got lost in :lol3

That sounds like some great memories. I would've loved that as a kid. Hell I'd love it now.

......and I won't even get started on the circle of friends we have.....:jump

From a couple years ago. It was the remains of a C.C.C. camp.
In the 1940's the remote camp was used for German prisoners of war.

I believe it was the crapper,
and not a former 14 burner wood stove for very short cooks.
