Sooooo, who's riding this week?
I may try to make the STN lunch in Elsie on Saturday.
..I have to put the DR back together and hope to get in a dinner ride later. Tomorrow looks edible also.:dg
Oh my what a beauty day! You can finally feel the spring in the air. It sure was nice riding in cutoffs and tennis shoes again. Got in a nice RTE to the Hudsonville Grill for soup and salad.:dg
Anything hapening on that side this weekend ?
Supose to be nice this weekend .
Heck no! The forcast looks funky here but that can change. Whoopi Goldberg is playing at the Ford Fieldhouse and the Rainbow Grill has all you can eat fish on Friday night.
Is this worth driving a car a couple hours to and a couple hours back?
Here ya go you hungry geezers, something to possibly do this summer:
Saturday June 16th - Lakeville, IN
Its been kinda quiet here lately. Anyone getting out and enjoying this nice weather? I got my Honda out of the basement and back on the road this weekend. After riding the DR all winter it felt strange riding a bike with a windshield again. The roads are still salty but that will change if we get the rain that is forecast for this week. With the rivers rising I need to get out and see if my duct tape patch job is going to keep the water out of my kayak...
Went for a ride with the boy today. He was on his new Ninja 650r:
Nice bike Jeff... I was out your way Sunday for breakfast at the Rock Island which has by far the best ham in the world. The chili might be the best also? I'm riding over to the new and improved Henry Ford Museum tomorrow weather permitting. As long as I'm over there I might as well stop at Lockharts BBQ in Royal Oak for lunch. They have perhaps the best Texas style BBQ north of the Red River.:dg
Dang it's too nice to be inside working
And knowing the bike is in the parking lot...
and knowing that Brewery Vivant is 5 minutes away with an open patio to sip cold suds on...
What a great day for a motor bike ride! I just got in from a 350 mile RTE..... BBQ in Royal Oak and chocolate creme pie in Portland. My windshield is covered in bug guts. Its hard to believe its mid March.
Had a ride from Big Rapids out to Lake Michigan trying to avoid tarmac as much as possible.
Came across a guy on a red KLR and waved, in hindsight I should've stopped and said hi. I could use some riding buddies out here
130 miles round trip and managed about 50% dirt time, perfect day for it
Yea been there done that . When your riding I don't think your minds about stopping .
Is this weather freaky or what? One or two days like this is one thing but all this week? Same forecast for next week, dang. I just got back from a pie ride out to the lakeshore. :dg One the way back I stopped at the North Dorr store for a soft drink and much enjoyed the wheelie exhibition put on by the local guy on the KTM...I wonder if he is a lurker here? .Once upon a time I used to do nice wheelies like that on my Bultaco, only longer. Tomorrow is going to be a great day for a RTE in search of cornbeef and cabbage....maybe a couple green beers too.

Got two of them,
Kurt, what were you thinking about building? Rome??
Well had a good ride today, hit some street and some trails with the KLX400. While out on the icy trails had my first fall on the bike. Glad to get that out of the way with nobody watching. Then, a block from home going around the last corner before the subdivision I get this wiggily rear end... Blown tube. Best time to get a blown out, right arond the corner from home, on my way home. So now I get to learn how to chainge a the tire on this bike.
