When our race trailer was robbed at Barber, the officers who responded were on 1800 GoldWings!

LA moto-cops use to ride Pacific Coast. I know, with only 50hp its hard to believe they could catch anyone. I think they liked them because there was lots of storage for beer and donuts. :rofl

What's worse than a cold rainy riding day in Michigan?............A sunny, warm day without a bike in the Texas hill country.:becca

One more week. Seriously thinking of buying a small dualy and leaving it here in S.A. I might go look at a 05 DRZ tomorrow. There is also a sweet KLX250 SM on Craigslist. I don't know much about Kaws. I assume its a good bike? There is literally zero offroading in this area but miles and miles of hilly twisty bumpy paved roads. And more great roadside eateries than you can shake a stick at. :dgThe music scene is also as good as it gets...:strum:drums:strum:beer:1drinkWilly is playing next week just down the street at Flores Store. Its been sold out for weeks.

Well, if you're able to get tickets enjoy. I saw Willie this summer. He's still awesome.

BTW, the few things I hear about the KLX250 are good.

Getting closer to riding with Buls4evr in Deming all the time....winter is approaching. Cold, gray skies, snow vs sunshine, warmth. You want a DS, you want a DS..... ,you want a DRZ, not that little 250 popper:clap

I rode Little O yesterday with a couple of friends. The weather was awesome and most of the sand cooperated. There was one large puddle that didn't cooperate and I ended up muddy and limping. :rofl

Hey! What's wrong with a little 250 popper!? ;) I love mine. It's probably a little underpowered, but I figure that keeps me out of trouble.

I had a great day yesterday. I did a nice 2.5 hour ride with my wife where she participated for the first time in the Mid MI & Thumb Photo tag Game.

Also, Off Road Goat. If you're looking for a reasonably priced dual sport, I just happen to have one for sale. :deal

Yeah, I use to hear that a lot when I had a DT-1 or my Alpina or my WR250, then the other guys got back to the car and I had my bike loaded already and they were quiet. Probably just tired? :lol3..A DRZ would fit my type of riding better. Almost all pavement with a few gravel roads thrown in. I should just get a small cheap street bike for that kind of riding, like a baby ninja. I do like riding dualy type bikes with all that suspension. I probably should ask the inlaws if I can leave it in their garage before I buy anything?....I'm afraid Deming is just a distant dream for me. :cry...Too much travel and too little cash makes the Goat a poor boy. I leave for Florida just ten days after getting back from Texas. Just enough time to rake some leafs, blow out the sprinklers and tuck the bikes away for the winter. Its a bitch getting old.

Whatever! I thought you still had a sugar mama in Detroit? :sweeti

Anybody else out riding besides the crazy, plaid Canadian? I got lazy and decided not to leave the house this week. My body is still acclimating to the cold temps. I'm very sensitive you know :D

She's retired now too and goes with me everywhere so that just doubles the cost. Its going to be difficult getting use to the cold damp fall temps.:vardyGoing back and forth from hot to cold to hot to cold again is a cold waiting to happen.:sick.....The boss also told me I don't need another damn motorcycle.

The PC would be to small for you JJ. Its almost too small for me. You'll need something else for donut shopping. Now the DR is something I might shop around?

Meh, the DR is a great bike no doubt, but now that I own a DR350 I wouldn't give it up off road, in Michigan at least.

I need an on-road ride now. If I could just find a good deal on a Nighthawk 750.
