Any one interested in riding the Washington Back Country Discovery Route North to South and ending up at WetFest?
Pete -- thinking about it. How many days would you plan on taking? Will depend on whether my two week trip in June/July happens or not.
Some pics of what you might encounter at WetFest 2011...
I'm thinking 3 - 4 days. I'd head out 20 from here and pickup the route south of Twisp.
None of that looks any fun at all Brad
The Professor has suggested a friendly competition on his .7 mile private track. Exactly 2 miles from our place.
$5 per bike, 3 laps, best time wins the pot - we locals are not allowed but will gladly set the time to beat!
Just an idea . . .
Is there a big bike handicap?
That's a good question.
Clearly there should be a CC classification.
A - singles
B - twins
C - triples?
discuss . . .
I'll tell you what I want to discuss: Now that Direwolf's Paypal account is opened back up, what's his lame excuse this time for not LIGHTING THIS MOTHERFUCKIN' CANDLE, HUH?
Thinking of a dirty route from Hood River to Bend that I plan on riding to WF.
I'm taking the long way to Tumalo for sure
Pre WetFest meetup in Hood River for the dirty route to Tumalo, anyone???
But then again, why would ANYONE want to go to stoopid places like this?
Am I too late to get in? Sounds like my kind of weekend...
If not, I'll be there.
DW, PM'd you with money/paypal stuff.
Too late? HELL, IT HASN'T EVEN OFFICIALLY STARTED YET.
Sign me up for the triple class
Now who's going to loan me a bike
Maybe Triumph would show with a trailer full of demo bikes. Can't hurt to ask.
Yeah, that's what happens when I stay up too late, and miss the morning cup of coffee.
A little prep on friday -
Hmmmm, Brad has one but it's a kitty.
Sounds good to me
