Fixed to what we actually need from an event coordinator.....
You're pretty quick.
I'll put you down for bringing the 800XC for the raffle.
Thanks for stepping up.
I am in!
Where is the paypal thread?
Paypal stuff will go in one of the early posts (4 or 5).
I am waiting on art, then I can get shirt/sticker costs, and have to meet with wachs to figure out what kind of porta pottie rentals and stuff we need, then fifure out the per person cost will be.
No need to hurry.
We have plenty of time before the event.
(There, I said it.)
I am slacking as hard as I can over here.
It all looks nice, but how far are these dunes from the site?! And can we show up Thursday night?
If we decide to do a ride to the Christmas Valley sand dunes it would be an all day ride. From Wachs' ranch in Tumalo would be real close to 200 miles round trip. A fast rider making minimal stops could make CV in about 2 hours, all off-road...
Looks like a 80mph road to me.
We can't host anyone until friday but there is a super nice campground on the DesChutes River 2 miles down the road - Tumalo State Park. If anyone is interested in staying there for a night or two it would be prudent to make reservations NOW!
Sweet! That looks like the BRP express lane!?!
i'd be down to make the 200mile trek....
This whole powerline has waterbars pretty evenly spaced that are GREAT for getting some 50+mph air! braaaaaaaaaappp And there's some epic trail leading into it as well, rolly, pumicey heaven that is super bonus epic when it's wet.
Clearly, Brad21 has volunteered to lead this EPOCH - (you should find a sweep or 2 immediately Brad)
I'll help sweep for Brad... count me in!:eek1
I updated some of the first couple of posts with recent quotes from wachs (on arrival day), and Brad21 (pics/rides).
Only 7 motorhome sites left for Thursday night 9/8.
