OK, someones gotta do it :evil

I know Direwolf has been losing sleep over this, no one is stepping up for it.............and I ain't got much time to put to much into it, BUTT...............

WetFest will return to Skamokawa Wa for 2013

The Pagoda has been reserved along with 5 River view camp spots for September 5th, 6th and 7th.

There are other river camp spots available along with RV spots and as of 1/9/13 all of the Yurts are available.
Tent camping is also allowed in the large open area around the Pagoda.

    This Just In 8/20/13

I received a call from Janet at Vista Park to let me know that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be moving sand (lots of it) the weekend of WetFest :evil

    The Bad:
    -Trucks moving sand 24/7

    The Good:
    - The work will take place on the west end of the park (we will be on the east end)
    - Won't have to worry about any noise we make.
    - Janet told me that since we will be paying for the Pavilion, anyone that camps around the Pavilion will not have to pay.

She was very apologetic for this, said it was beyond her control, and if we wanted to change weekends we could (not going to happen).

If ya want a Yurt, an RV spot or one of the nice river view sites yes, otherwise there is plenty of open space around the pavilion for pitching a tent.

Want, I can give you directions....................or you can just follow me :1drink

Thanks be in order for Road Rash for stepping up, ( or maybe in..) to do what us bunch of passive procrastinators thought about doing.

Thanks Rashy, I'm in, ( not sure as volunteer..?) at least till I know if I'm out. Maybe see if I can talk Karl into coming along...:lol3

I volunteer to chase all the buzzards off the beach in the foggy morning.
I volunteer to get shitfaced drunk and toss that pussy earwig in the creek if he gives me any shit!
I volunteer to raise the river level as best I can with my tiny stream of piss. (we'll have to check on the tides to see if there is any effect)
I volunteer to put more goddamned wood on the fire than we need in case Linkweewee is a no show.

I volunteer to invoke the names of those who cannot show, and shed a tear in their remembrance!
