Just finished Nashville to Key West to Manchester over a couple of weeks. A lot of boring Florida in there, but the best days were by far
Not enough dirt but a lot of good roads, camping, and views.

My life's kinda been on hold for the last few years since losing my job as an ITSM and having to build up a new experience base as a teacher - still, job jobbed. That box is ticked.

So now I can start getting back on the road again, starting with a weekend away 2 weeks ago and then 9 days and 2000km, in June, doing the twisty thing in Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Germany.

And that, a few overnighters aside, will be that for the year.

Meanwhile, in a garage far far away, there's a GS with my name it it - not this year, maybe not next, but it'll be mine - yes! By Grabthar's Hammer! One day it shall be mine! All 1200 inappropriate CCs of Bavarian loveliness.

I'm planning a ride fromCalgary down the divide to Mexico border, with detour to Utah arches and maybe Grand Canyon. Then across to Southern California and head north checking out coast and mountains on my way north back to Canada. Back in Canada I'm going to explore BC and Vancouver island before returning to Alberta

Riding from Homosassa Florida to Lake George NY, and meeting up with friends for five days of Americade June 5th through 10th. Then three or four of us are riding to Maine before meandering back to Suches Georgia for a few days. Not sure if I'll make it over to the Ozark Mountain gathering with them yet or not as it will be getting close to time for me to return to work. Anyone else going to Americade this year?

Me and the wife are going to Cookeville Tn. in July and ride around the Cumberland Mtns a bit.Only about a week total but she'll be sick of riding by the end anyway.

I would like to ride around southern Ontario also, they do quite a bit of advertising, it's close and looks like fun

Planning a cross-country ride with my Dad who has stage 4 cancer. Was planning a trip to Alaska originally for spring of this year but his Chemo last year really took it out of him. We thought the long trip plan was completely out the window but then he got a break from Chemo! We don't know how long this will last as his Cancer is not curable so we are scrambling now to plan a 30 day ride from VA to CA in late Aug/Early Sep. This will be my first trip longer than 4 or 5 days!

After reading all of these great trips, mine seems pretty tame. Leaving Bend, OR for Yellowstone/Tetons on Saturday only 12 days to cover a lot of sights. Did Glacier last summer, all pavement on a cruiser.
