    I purchased an ultrasonic cleaner a few years ago and I'm still amazed at how clean you can get a carb with some elbow grease and the ultrasonic cleaner. This guy wanted his carb cleaned, inspected for wear and some bling. Check out the before and after pictures.

    You need more bling, get the dremel out and polish that baby out or paint it or get some anodizing done. I used to hang out at The Samba before I sold my 61 Beetle to fund my Blackbird and some of the guys over there have some trick looking carbs...

    Those are Porsche shrouds on Type 1 motors. The DTM is a Jake Raby product and is of a different design to provide better cooling than what Porsche had on the older motors and Jake's shroud sure does work.
