I prefer this one, there, guy
"Don't start no shit, there wont' be no shit."
this guy took a burned up crispy hunk of poop, spend a crap ton of money on it, and now he has something NO ONE ELSE has. all you naysayers that ride the exact bike that 5000 other people also ride need to pull your bottom lips over your heads and swallow.
MM, good job man. its like looking at a train wreck full of naked angels....
Inspection next week then off to New France.
Naked of course.
That must have cost you a lot. But it looks very good.
How did you paint the gearbox? Is it powder coated? Did you get it in the oven with all the seals on?
You quoted the whole effin post to say sweet? :huh
By the way, I don't believe it until I see you ride it krellheat!
You quote all those pictures and that's the best you've got?
*Edit* I guess I read slow. Beaten to the punch by JVB. Hehe
*2nd edit* I have seen proof that MM is enjoying his HP2. It is for real! Maybe if you ask nice he'll show it to you. :)
since I can't see what I signed up for myself so lets see something else
yes jim sweet I believe he will ride it
Clean title from former BMW dealer $700usd
Touratech Revamp Kit $3100 (kit was used)
I am guessing total around $5,500 of parts, paint, and supplies. I could have just bought a used one but rebuilding this bike to my spec is theraputic.
Gear box paint is Rustoleum from local hardware store. I've used it on snowmobile restorations. Holds up well.
Video proof will be forth coming - ATGAT of course.
Maybe I can stop in Maine on my way North.
You do know I was messing with you, right?
Yes I know.
Moosemeat, show us your HP2E now
You will give pleasure to the ones who supported you and will give pain to all the others
@Krellheat : you should start another subject. Your bike wasn't bought for 515.00$
I plan to create a new thread documenting the general steps in rebuilding process.
