I prefer this one. It has life and history.

IMHO The other's just yet another 'new' bike.

    This winter?

    • ride the scabby 300 quid VFR750 I bought for a winter hack
    • finish rebuilding herself's bonnevile so it can go out of the house thus making room to bring in
    • her MV 350 which I'm supposed to be rewiring, sorting the carbs and figuring out what else needs doing
    • find a storage unit so I can empty the big shed before stormageddon blows it down
    • finding enough money to build a decent workshop
    • if there's any time or budget left, persuade the Laverda to run again
looks easy when I put it like that :D

I really should finish off the CL 450 project I started 2 years ago, along with riding the Timbersled. :D

Get out on the ice bike and enjoy making sno-cones with the rear tire.

The Black GS all the way on the left will get a good cleaning, and a continuation of the optimization of the new Mikuni carbs, but it's the daily driver. The White g/s (See sig for the transformation thread) will get a new shaft, and hopefully a spoked rear wheel from Woody's (and I might sell it :huh ). The Blue one is 'new' to me ... and will get new fluids all around, some 'S' bars up front, the tank relined, the speedo needle will be repaired, probably a coat of black paint, a new headlight bezel, and some general TLC (the last time it was registered was 1992). The grey R80RT will have its push-rod seals replaced, the oil pan gasket replaced, and then sold.

Oooh, orange seat. The very first Commandos had those. Silver tank and fastback and orange seat, odd but pretty.

Not winter here but today the AJ is getting a new rear tyre and chain, clutch bearings, primary and dynamo chains and a few nuts and bolts replaced, and in a couple of weeks a new monoblock carb.

I'm not so sure I like this thread,I have this little piddly to-do list since I'm down to only one bike and my eyeballs have been sneaking over to craigslist a lot lately.
