Today is another Ghezzi Brian day. The sport monza, because I feel like leaving my fiance at home today:
What the hell!
That was not like that when I left it!
Today (and pretty much every other day) - this one, as long as I can exchange it for a new one when it breaks down. There are lots of tight, twisty but somewhat bumpy roads in the hinderland of South East Queensland. I think it will be hard to find a bike that offers more fun and thrills on these roads.
Too many wants, not enough cash, so placing in categories, all impractical, but still want :
The last Harley I liked - '42WLA
Sportbike - KTM RC8 Akra Special Edition
Strange work of engineering - Confederate Wraith
Rally bike - BMW 450RR
Cafe racer - BSA or KTM
But some reality after FishFund's RR, I'm thinking a TE610....that looks like fun!
I'm recently starting to think I want a sport tourer. So today I want a 2010 Honda VFR1200 with the dual cluth transmission.
this is looking pretty good to me - good thing the nearest dealer is 6 hours away.

Oh, wait, I have one.
But what I really lust after is an MV Agusta Brutale 1090RR.
CB600F hornet. Incredibly easy to ride, light, nimble and more than enough power for around town. I've also tested similar bikes like the Street Triple, ER-6F and SV650, the Hornet however would be the one I'd buy.
Interesting! I like the Hornet too, but I also like the Street triple! I think I would have a tough time deciding between the two. Love the Triumphs motor, but prefer the hornets styling! What was it that you liked about the Hornet?
Smoother engine (although slightly less powerful than the S3)
The hornet felt more nimble, it has a very small turn radius and feels slightly lighter.
I mostly do short distance urban commuting, so the hornet is the better bike for this purpose. But if I want a hoon machine, I'd go for the S3.
I still want a 1098
How'bout a Brutale on steroids:
Still looks like my Gladius
Triumph Tiger Cub,
i.e, 675cc svelt dual sport with adventure lugguage and a big gas tank.
Bring it on Bloor, bring it on
Borile, 500cc handbuilt thumper. Very expensive for something I would beat the hell out of, but good god is it a work of art.
The PTS Motors Vento 400 Cafe Triple. Review from Kneeslider, see associated links. Ozzie design, American engine R&D, Chinese manufacture. Hope to see it sold in 2011. Hope. I'm a n00b rider so won't be ready for this until 2012 anyway, but once I am, looks very nice.
This one: '07 Honda Interceptor, Anniversary Edition. Still some new out there.
It may be imaginary, but what an ambitious imagination: A 990cc DOHC V-8, 275bhp, 22,000rpm redline.
I want to hear it, but above all, I want to spin up a V-8 that weighs less than I do.
