Got a guy "Ducati guy" near by?
If yes - go for it.
:huh They who? The they I know never said any such thing.
They managed to make that thing so proportional, that until I saw a pic of someone sitting on one, I thought it was a full-size bike. What does a fully grown person do with one of these....other than attracting strange looks?
Teenagers and circus clowns.
Heading down to Pensacola to pick up one of these :) Love the looks of these bikes.
Who cares. That thing is so much fun to ride.
Wheelies, stoppies, and other hooliganism!
Seriously, ride it and have fun, and the h**l with what others think.
I would LOVE to see someone testing for their license on one at the DMV.
I did a demo on an 8V last summer, and it was just enough more engaging than an R12RT to be fun. I thought it was geared too tall, but all the big tourers are.
When the weather turns to shit I start looking for big comfy warm bikes. Freezing rain yesterday, so here we are.
Gimme a Burgman.
People don't understand how nice the Burgman is if they never ride one.
I love those things.
Lately I've been missing my old UJM. It was perfect for just hopping on and exploring the roads, especially with pretty girl on the back seat. Since I've traded up to a ZX she has ridden with me once, just not the same.
I think a new Bonnie with the two to one pipe and a few sporty mods would be perfect. Classic looks, modern reliability, and following the rule of riding a slow bike fast, should be fun to strafe the mountain roads on.
The blue and white two tone is Damn sharp too.
My plan in the spring is to do this for a commuter with the DCT. (Would much rather prefer it if Honda bumps it to a 750.)
And this for my fun bike.
