Today, tomorrow, and the day after that.
Yep. I've wasted 3 grand on a lot worse machines. That's a peach.
These are really starting to grow on me. That could be expensive.
I want something cheap to run:
..just lost my job.
Cortez -- so sorry to hear of your job loss. Working in the tech industry, that is one of my biggest fears (because someday, I'll be replaced by someone in India).
Do you still have your Agility 125? You can't get any cheaper to run than that.
I like the looks,it's the 23hp that kinda unexcites me.
Oh yeah, sorry to hear about your job, best of luck in your search for a new one!
Have an opportunity to get one of these locally to get me back in the Sport Touring game. Any advice from the collective?
those are great bikes! better with a Corbin, though.
You'll poke an eye out, best to get you a nice WR250R
The one I think the most of recently is the 690R but I do miss having a sport tourer in the garage, something more substantial than the VFR. An RT would be nice but too spendy. Perhaps an FJR.
I've got a friend's brand new Triumph 1200 Explorer in my garage sitting beside my GS before its exportation to Mexico where it will likely have a long life filled with adventure. I did not think much of these when released but seeing one in the flesh and seeing it perform it has grown on me. No risk to my GS though.
+1 on both accounts.
I got the naked one.
If you've ridden anything similar, this will have the least torque of the
bunch - think 500cc twin torque. That said, you can ride around at
3000 revs in complete silence, and just 3 downshifts and you're flyin'.
Fuel consumption could be better.
Other then that, absolutely amazing bike still.
I have always lusted mightily for one of these, finding one (when I have the money) is the tricky part.
sorry to hear about your job. I hope something better will come up soon.
Best of luck with the job search, Cortez!
And I really like that T-bird Sport, Gham!!
Something will come up.
I've always loved these too but out here in CA people want too much for them. You can buy a new Bonnie for what they want for a 98.. Crazy.
I want a Tiger 800. Roadie or XC wouldn't matter to me. Though I think I might enjoy the XC a bit more. I've got a free day though Eaglerider via a coupon. They rent the Roadie Tiger 800 in San Diego and I plan to rent one for a day or two to get a feel for it.
This could do the trick for me. Need to compare it to a few others though!
