Are you sure you don't want 1 more inch of anything else,
    while you're at it?

I wish Honda would make a retro bike like the CB1100 except with the 500cc parallel twin for much cheaper. A real retro type CB500 would be grand because at the dealership today I found the CB500f, and X etc.. really don't look very nice in person.

I've always loved the Aprilia Falco. I feel that it is a great shame that they dropped the bike instead of updating it along with the 2nd generation Tuono. The Falco fairing and factory soft saddle bags with support frame made it a terrific sport-tourer. The next-gen instruments and FI would have made it that much better.

I went to the IMS last weekend so today the list is the FZ-09 from Yamaha, the 1199 Panigale in black and the carbon Diavel from Ducati, and from KTM the 1190R, 690 Enduro R, 690 Duke R, 500EXC, and a two stroke to be named later.
    Other than that I'm good.

I like these bikes and the looks are growing on me, but I still can't get around the way they are marketed. Everything I read is that they are very competent road bikes and I think most will agree that this is a street bike first and foremost. Will it go off road, sure, but then so will my VFR if I really wanted to. I can suspend disbelief for the later model GSs for some reason, but not this one. I don't know why I am harder on this than other adventure styled bikes. Great color combo though!
