For the past year its been a GSA, couple days a Triumph Scrambler, but today, I want a new Norton.
I've wanted this one for a while....ever since it was a 1200
I have that problem every time a first-gen GS500 comes up for sale.
Continue resisting, technology has come a long way since then.
Because of this thread:
I lust for a gs850g
I had a '80 GS1000G I bought new.
Same bike, bigger balls.
Mine looked just like this 850 but I added a color matched WindJammer w/ lowers and the same rack on back.
Much better than the '78 XS 1100 it replaced. It would even go around corners with a passenger!!!
A supurb ride for the times!
I can't explain it.
I've had a fascination with Urals for about three years now. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be going the sidecar route anytime soon, with how much highway riding I do.
Although, there is the Solo ST now...
I like the Ural's too... I just think it might be too slow (60MPH?) If it could sustain a 70MPH without wheezing, I'd be all over that!
The solo ST can do that, it just isn't a sidecar rig.
I want a late Nighthawk 750. I love naked UJMs, I've already got one, a XJR1300, but it's too big for everyday use so I only use her for 2up riding and long trips. The Nighthawk would be a perfect all around bike.
I just haven't been able to find a reasonably priced one here, all of them are either old and abused or not so old but stupidly overpriced.
Production Aprilia Tuono V4 R, who wouldn't love 167HP and dirt bike bars?!?!
^ That's what I was going to post. Damn thing is like a Rokon that can be ridden on the road.
Okay I'll ask, what the hell is it? The ugliness appeals to my sensibility and my need to be excluded from groups. Never mind my Google-foo is strong today.
XTW250 Yamaha concept.
You know it's more than a fad when Honda enters the e-bike fray.
I think we're looking at an important motorcycle, here.
Plus it looks like a motorcycle and not some weird boxy looking futuristic attempt to hide batteries.
WTF that's nuts.
Who in his right mind would..:huh
Fine, I'll take one.
Dude!!! Is that ^^^ a Trailway???
That's F-ing AWESOME!!!!!!!
I still wish Yamaha would make a 500 - 650 cc version of that. I figure it'd be fairly simple... IF Yamaha had a 650 thumper... but they don't.
I'm still wrestling with what I'm going to replace my FLHTK with.
Two days ago, I was dead-set on a new CVO Road Glide.
Then I saw the Victory Cross Country Tour.
And, of course, the BMW K1600GTL.
But I get downright giddy riding an R1200GS Adventure.
And the R1200RT sure looks like a bunch of fun.
It's a shame the insurance check won't cover them all.
Sure they do. It's just sold in other markets and in their 4-wheelers. The 660/650 motor is very common motor as long as you don't want it in a motorcycle in this market.
