I'd really like a nice red VFR 800 from the late 90s
or even a 750 from the early 90s

I really like those bikes. If I had room and a few extra grand laying around I'd pick one up... the wife probably wouldn't be thrilled but she'd get over it.

Today I want a Buell 1125R with an 1190 racing kit I read about in a news article about Buell/Pegasus Racing.
I also want the Yamaha XT660Z Tenere that is sat outside my window!
Yesterday, I wanted Triumph 675 Daytona (ALWAYS on the want list!) and a Husqvarna TE630.

Does it have to be something we can buy to lust after it?

This is on my mind 24/7. I wouldn't ride it. I would keep it in a glass case inside my house only taking it out a couple times a year to hear it run.

Lately I've been lusting over a zx14 or Hayabusa. I'd love an early 90's GSXR750- love the lines on that bike! Early 90's VFR750 would be great.

Oh, and a street-legal XR650R! (the list could go on and on and on....how much time you got?)

A mint Kawasaki ZX-7 with the checkerboard paint scheme. A VFR400. A Guzzi 4 valve engine and CARC drivetrain housed in a Tonti frame with wire wheels, chrome fenders and triple disc Brembos styled to look like a 1973 Eldorado complete with chrome panels on the tank and twin toolboxes. A Morbidelli V8. A Parilla 250. An RZ500. Those are the ones I am most lusting after today. Tomorrow will be a completely new list.

I want one of everything. Or...two of nearly everything. That way I could sell some of the ones I have two of to get the ones I don't have so then I would be back to having one of everything.:clap

NCR Millona 16: like a Desmosedici but faster

Take one Ducati Desmosedici RR, replace the fairing, tank, frame, swingarm, subframe, tailpiece, fender and wheels (and paddock stand!) with extra lightweight, extra swoopy carbon fiber and you're only about half way to creating the NCR Millona 16. The bike is also upgraded with SBK-spec Ohlins FGR000 forks, ceramic brake discs, a full titanium in-seat exhaust system, a lightened gearbox and full on-board telemetry (including suspension), traction control and programmable engine maps. The end result? Dry weight is reduced by 71lbs to 319lbs (145kg), power is up over 200hp at the back wheel. Also gone is the Desmosedici's ugly, replaced instead with purpose and mechanical function. If you have to ask (and you do have to ask, price on request) you can't afford it.

    Now THAT is wild!!!!!!!

I think I could build one of those.

    4 parts titanium
    2 parts carbon fiber
    1 part aluminum
    8 parts sheer terror
    8 parts uncontrollable laughter
    1 million euro

    Sounds about right....... haaha
