Tripped over the radiator for my 57 Chevy. You know, I really ought to finish that car
Installed a pair of hood (bonnet) lift struts on my daily driver.
Welded a patch in to the front of the bed on the IH. Not done yet, but getting there. (I'm not a body guy and I'm not building a show truck here, just filling in the hole)
Before for reference
Also removed the backing plate from the spare tire carrier since I won't be putting it back on. They must have paid IH employees by the spot weld on these trucks. Geez. Also note the cracks around the upper mount. There is another at the lower front mount.
Jump started my Mercedes. I apparently left the interior light on before vacation and killed the brand new battery!
It's a sign that 4 wheeled vehicles are evil!
Typically it sits for weeks between use.
I spend more time cleaning it than driving it.
Well it is pretty

70° and sunny. Great day for a top down ride.
Changed out the oil and filter on the CB500X. Poured in 10-40 again as the spec 10-30 mcy oil is a unicorn grade 'round here.
Moved on to the air filter replacement. With these "compact" new bikes just an R&R for the air filter was a real treat. I now know why shops charge what they do for service. doG help me if I ever attempt to do a valve check!
Removed carbs, checked jet sizes, set valves incorrectly, installed same carb, set valves incorrectly for the second time, (3rd time's a charm) and set valves correctly.
Bike's idling right, but still need to wait on my bigger jets.
I'm surprised Benz doesn't have an auto shut down for accessory drain.
My van turns off all accessory circuits after about 20 minutes and I know some vehicles as far back as the 90s had systems that would shut down below a certain voltage if the key was in any position except run.
I liked yer Sat-run more, Jim.
chipping out 4 inches of ice so I can get one of my 4 shop door to open. Been a rough winter
Better go buy a lottery ticket!
It is a 2005.
You gotta love people who change stuff all around before even riding a machine. Friends of mine do it with their snowmobiles all the time. One does something and right away they all gotta do the same thing. The one dude put wider skis on for more floatation... Mind you where they ride is all hardpack groomed trails another does the same and when the sled steers hard he makes all kind of corrections and changes to get it to steer like a stock sled.
Leave the friggin thing alone!
Some people don't own it till they change it. Or talk about it. All we can hope is changes are not too bad.
Dropped a set of .90 Sonic springs into my Vstrom. Hopefully I'll be able to take it out again this week. Rode around 320 miles this weekend!
Uncovered the '99 and pulled it out of the snow bank that the plow pushed against it, intending an afternoon of a jump start, new battery , mice issues etc.. I turned the key, pushed the starter button and Vroooom!!. took a short ride then took my kid to the R/C store and sledding.
Stole the day!!
