I also helped a friend mod his HF tire changer to work on his HF lift like mine.

Couldn't get to sleep earlier so I went back out to the shop and mounted a oversize tank and installed a LED tail light on a friends XR .

Cleaned up the tools I got from my father, then sorted and cleaned some parts for my Hodaka Wombat restoration.

Re-assembling my Bridgeport mill after overhauling it. Drilled and tapped the rear of the just-precision-ground table for the DRO scales and guards. Tomorrow I chamfer the edges of the t-slots and finish cleaning it before I install it on the saddle. Then the power feeds get installed and the DRO goes on. Then machine the mounting plate and the 1.25" aluminum plate on top of the 13 inch rotating table for the Hofmann tilt table.:clap Almost done!

Today's manufacturers need to wake up and pay attention to what you are doing. You could easily work in someone's R&D department.

^ Stranger things have happened! :evil You never know what the future holds!

Making bags for people has awakened an excitement in me that I haven't had since I painted 7 years ago. I may knock the dust off my Iwatas and SATAs this year!:clap

Messed around with some wood today. Now that it is roughed in, the fine work begins - the kid wants it white and pink :lol3

installed new rear main seal on my K1200RS, reinstalled flywheel, made a clutch alignment tool by grinding down an old allen socket and came in to take a break and check out Toxic Britney.

I'm gonna head out and install the clutch and hopefully get the transmission back in the bike, then study for some physics and watch the super bowl.

Filled in the last of the bumps ready to smooth out this week in anticipation of laying VCT next weekend. Wiped down the bike and cleaned up a remnant bug carcass on the windscreen. My son poked his head in and said "dad, you really love that thing don't you?"

I picked up tools and organized a little then rolled the DR out and gave it a bath. At least now I can walk between the bikes without knocking dirt in the floor. :clap
