If you don't mind me asking what windshield is that you have? Thanks!
First ride with Rally Raid. Love it.
Yep, the shock is fine, but beefier springs are on order for the front.
Bought scorps, took it off road for the first time and made me smile xD.
Installed a Mefo Super Explorer on the back and a k-60 scout up front.
Field tested a new external gas tank:
Bought it yesterday. Took it on some trails today and put a 100 miles on it.
Sold some retirement funds early...oops. Added new SPS front/rear suspension re-valve, new front DID rim, wheel bearings all around, new Scorpion Rallys, new Earth X lithium battery from CJDesigns ( unbelievably light!). New Saenz windshield deflector on my -2.5 cutdown.
Waiting for brake line upgrade and high fender kit, then I think she's seriously ready to go ROCK SURFING!
New steering head bearings, FMF mufflers and Wolfman tankbag on, pannier mounts off.
Anyone else sick of their buddy with a Garmin 276/376/476 rubbing it in that their GPS has a built in VM & yours doesn't?
Well, suck it!
I R&R the VRR w/ the Shindengen from Roadster Cycle (highly recommend over other options). Hopefully this digital meter is overkill now, but it's sure nice to see it glowing telling you all is ok.
BTW, tapping in to ACC2 up front shows a few tenths low on voltage due to crappy wire and voltage drop. So the next time the tank is off, I'll power it through the fuzeblock with good wire.
Finally got around to mounting new Scorps onto the beast ready for a Whistler run tomorrow....may have to leave work a little early
Opened up my fuelpump...disaster
Shop just called, good news!! Suspension is back from Race Tech!!
Bad news, they forgot to respring. Back to Race Tech it goes. Will update whenever I get this thing back on the road.
Clean or replace? That looks like a replace.
Cleaning and install Dr Bean kit:)
+1 on the springs. It made a HUGE difference!!! And I love your color...!
Nice VM - is that waterproof? I haven't tested mine in a rainstorm yet..
It is waterproof. BikeMeters claims that it is encapsulated in epoxy, so moisture & vibration shouldn't be an issue. Time will tell.
I almost put this LED volt meter on. It changes color based on voltage, but I figured the OCD in me wanted to know the #.
Having options is a good thing!
Received my 2005 950 S from the paint shop today...
Oh, and by the way, a huge thanks to DesertSurfer for the inspiration!
