This is my shop that houses my 950 Super Enduro, among other things (for example, '78 Champange Edition II in the one-year only Peach Red Metallic full resto project). In this shop I'll be working on my 950 SE today, doing stuff to it.

No! Stay, share, and learn. Just call it a 950 and leave off the "SM". I don't think that many people really care, but posts/threads have been booted to RW before. Gotta be stealthy.:evil

Waiting, waiting, waiting for parts. Replaced a couple missing bolts today. Good thing I did a stainless bolt switch over on a BMW a few bikes ago. Thus, I have plenty of spare socket head metric bolts. Hard-wired the Battery Tender Jr. cable with the plug at the rear of the seat (no need to remove the seat to have it on the tender). Then went for a short ride (real short, as you probably guessed given the tires). Will probably wire a Euro (BMW) acc plug in the dash and/or on the left side next. Here how it sits now and it has a long way to go before I'm satisfied.

Finally got around to putting the front tire back on after blowout on the last rideable day of fall. Garage was about 40*, nice 'n' toasty. Still have about a foot of snow on the ground and it snowed while I was out in the garage.

Installed Pelican 1520's with Happy Trails mounting pucks and finished with new FMF Q4's on my new to me 06 950 ADV. The FMF's seem to have improved the throttle response upwards of 3500 rpm and I can at least hear the motor now :clap

Rode the 950 around the block. Worked better than ever. Grabby clutch when cold gone. No leaks. No drama.

Gonna ride it to work. 30 degrees and a chance of snow showers.

Rode my KTM (actually all 3) today (sorry for all those snow bound - I used to live in snow country, NE, IN, OH, OK - winter is the best time to ride in TX). :clap

There's a special place in Hell reserved for those that taunt the weak, infirmed, mental defectives, and snowbound motorcyclist. Don't worry Dirtjack, my Dad (and his 87 degree high temp yesterday in the Hill Country BS) will save you a seat if you're late to the party.

Oh, picked up some 6061 so I can beef up the rear subframe on my SE today, since I sure as hell ain't riding it due to this mini ice age here in the PNW.
