I snapped off left side mirror again!. No more crap for me. I just ordered HDB crash bars withs mirrors. fix this problem once and for all.
    Just finished:
    SAS removal
    HeadtoWind jetting kit
    Pre-filter
Fully cleaned carbs and everything else when apart
    Sync the carbs
Removed hose joining two gas tanks up top, and patched holes.
Installed Dirtinblood 2" bar risers ( wish i did this last year)
Re soldered wiring for PIAA's as I broke it loose while installing risers
Put on TKC 80 on spare rear rim and then swapped it onto bike.
    A New Air Filter.

I think its time to rally the beast!

Qwik, As soon as I saw this I said 'Hey that's the six sisters!'. I grew up riding the merry-go-round in the field that is now the Mercantile and playing skee-ball in the Pizza My Heart building. I don't normally miss S.C., but I do when I think of a ride on a warm, blue spring day like you just had. Thanks for the nice train of thought.

The pegs are sweeet, and the rack is waaaay cooler looking than stock, but........

But y'all gotta check out the "ZipTy Racing" Billet Rack for the 990. But I DO wish it was Orange like CJ's
    [IMG]

You just have to throw away the spacers it came with that make it sit level-ish like the stock rack does, and crank the bolts down anyway to get a lean that matches the bike's lean.

Well not that hard, but broke a couple of rear spokes. Now not sure why they broke ( got the wheels second hand ) not sure if they were laced too tight or not? Snaped at the nipples.[IMG]

I see the problem now ToddwMac. Why you don't ride your mistress (990) as much as she would like you to. You buy your mistress lots of nice presents, new shoes, new dresses, and you pretend you love her, but..............

But you REALLY just love your Wife (Porsche). Really you just have the mistress because you can. Because it's cool to show her off. You take her to the Ball once in a while, and you keep promising to leave your Wife someday for her................

But you REALLY just love your Wife:cry .

Furtunately ( :huh ), I could not afford the Sports Car (would have been an Elise for my country road life), and KaTy M gets ALL my LOVE!!!!!
