Is he now retired?
I think he is treading water.
Wednesday night at the Tryals Shop. Since I’m in between bikes, Mike let me ride the shop bike... El Tractore! Gas Gas TXT 320, with a Montesa rear fender. So glad to get a trials ride in, but riding El Tractore makes me anxious to get my new 125! Thank you Mike and the Tryals Shop!
If he would have made a second pair to walk the same places, I would say "He was a retread"
I put fat bars on my 05 Beta. Top yoke is from an 07 250.
I ordered fork springs for the 97jtx270. Im excited to get them installed, maybe this weekend. Then put her up for sale after I test em out of course.
Trials tire sandals. Haha, that would be cool.
Nothing spectacular, but Chuck is just smoooth.
like watching water flow uphill
I aspire to Chuck levels of smoothness.
What's all that white shit on the ground?
Sweet looking ride!!
Installed new iridium plug, shorty clutch / brake levers, plus a Domino white throttle tube on the new-to-me 4RT.
Then had my "D'oh!" moment after kicking the damn thing over probably 20 times trying to start it. I finally realized that the throttle cable wasn't seated exactly right and kept the throttle body from shutting completely. Fixed that and it fired first kick. What a Doofus
Wow... I haven't thought of that one in a while. I miss the '80's.
Nice bike. That bike mount though would make me nervous. One of the guys at our club was telling me about someone who was coming to one of the events years ago with that same setup. At one point he looked back to see his bike dragging on the road behind him. I guess the platform twisted off and the whole thing was dragging on the ground just held to the car with a ratchet strap.
Anything can break. Truck , trailer, rv. But when I was working at the Yamaha shop a guy bought a new yz250. Several hours later he came back and the bike was comepletly mangagled. The bike had fell off the trailer on a dirt road and he just kept going for about 5 miles with a huge dust cloud behind him. Imagine your bike is almost junk and you never even rode it once.
