For two up camping I have a 20l seal line on each side. Rox straps onto the vario bags. Sleeping bag, half a tent in each bag. Keeps wifey n ice and cozy.

My tent in its own bag on one side, my sleeping bag and pad in a Helen 2 Wheels bag on the other side.

For saddle bag liners, I use these. Cheap, and the price was right. I use a pelican side case, so they fit in well.

I agree with the seal line bags. I have put mine through some junk and has never let me down.

Try keriga bags. I really like them. Never leaked and have held up better than anything else. Did the TAT and toured with me this summer.

I bought 2 compression bags from REI (http://www.rei.com/product/730882/sea-to-summit-event-compression-dry-sack) and put the tent, 2 sleeping bags, rain coats , etc...use bungee straps to tight them on the vario panniers both sides.....

+1 fror the seal line. Plus they have great attachment loops to run the Roc straps.

For those that run with their bags on top of their panniers do you notice any difference when riding off road vs a bag strapped down behind you?
