    Hi all,

I'm sure there are a few of you who frequent offroadexplorer.com which is the forum hosted on Lance Turnley's (of TrailZone fame). Anyway, in the last 24 hours the pages I have read for years have disappeared and been replaced by some completely different website....does anyone know what has happened?

Thanks Andrew for letting me know. I don't often have time to contribute but it's a great source of relaxation and entertainment, reading all of the ride reports and storys, many of which are local to my location in the Sydney Hills district.

I often ride solo because of time constraints but I'll have to get out with all the fellas sometime. Did a quick run on Saturday afternoon from Wisemans up to Laguna and the brilliant run west along Finchley with what feels like a hundred erosion jumps, I mean humps. The Putty back to the Hills is pretty boring after that sweet bit of track.

    Cheers

We should have pulled into manilla the other day the old machinery rally was on.

My old man reliably informs me there was 1917 tractor there that is local to the area and was ploughing before the of ww1

Which I reckon is pretty cool

Nup Tyres and oil are easy to change ... there was one with a good ratio diff .. it would run at 26kmh and leave the rest behind.

So 500 odd km at 25 kmh would be 20 hours ... so 3 days 7 hours a day... more for side trips and the slower diff ratios.
