    Exactly.

I've never dropped my GS many times while riding alone in the woods. Not picking it up gets tiring after a while, I really should start riding with other people...

Ordered! Doesn't look like it comes with a dimmable switch. Gonna have to make one before they get here.

    Thanks again!

Jim, what is your general impression of those lights? Quality, beam pattern, brightness, illumination?

I see that the seller is offering white ones, which for $22 is an easy purchase.

    Thanks. :thumbup

Quality is not bad, not great, but they put out some good light for the price! I would buy them again.

They are spots, and since mine are yellow, do not throw light the way white ones do, but they do the job pretty well for the price.

Getting cold here in Seattle-area. Starter was squealing.

Cleaned and re-greased with white lithium grease. No more squealing.

The Good - Slapped on one of these and went for a little ride (to O'reilly's) - nice addition. No more concentrating on having my toes pointing forward for fear of slipping off the brake pedal.

I'm planning a trip to Alaska this May so I'll be riding though some of the western provinces on that trip. I'm not sure when I'll be traveling through the eastern provinces, but it is on my riding bucket list... :clap

oh, and as for the states I've visited, I rode in all of the states since last June, with the exception of New York, Vermont, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Washington (all places I lived in or near and owned a motorcycle prior to moving to California....)

I added a touch of white to my new beast.

I decided to try 3m vinyl wrap because I am rather indecisive and I can see myself changing my mind at some point.

But for now I'm liking it and think it came out well.

Just rode through 100,000 km, did the service and finally figured out that a thin wire through the u-joint to hold it up makes fitting the FD input and the drive shaft back together a snap - just slipped out the wire before closing it up.
