As mentioned, they're Heidenau K60 tires. I've got almost 7,000mi on them so far and they still have lots of life left on them. Personally, I hate them. They're not great offroad and onroad they are scary in the rain or wet patches and painted lines. I tried them after getting 7000mi on my TKC-80 tires and will go back to TKC.

Well I was sold on them, but now I'm not :D. I've got a couple thousand left on the tourances anyway, but they suck in the dirt it's looking like plan A is TKCs

Don't rule them out till you try them. I really like a K60 rear and tkc80 front. If you do a lot of highway miles, you will love the longevity and it works well for me off road.

What size bottles are those and do you have a pic of the mounts on the panniers without the bottles? Thanks

Received my steering damper and mounting bracket in the mail today. I'll install it in the morning and post photos.

It is a Dutch built Yacugar damper. I ordered it from The Beemer Shop. Mine is an all black version of the one shown in the link.

Got the bike inspected today and asked the mechanic's professional opinion on the state of my tire. I told him I would be taking a ~2,600mi trip in early May. He said to definitely replace it.

So I ordered a new tire from Revzilla.

I also ordered a new set of shocks from Ohlinspro.com.

And I went to AutoZone and got some 75w90 synthetic and 2 bottles of DoT4. I'm planning on replacing the rear brake disk and replacing the FD fluid on Sunday. And soon I will flush the ABS.

I ordered the parts to fix the oil cooler thermostat issue last Friday. Then ordered the clutch slave cylinder to begin the clutch fix.
Today I ordered a set of TKC80's to fix the slow leak in the very worn rear TKC that is on there now.

Saturday I bought a new pump since the old pump didn't. New pump cost just over $100 here locally. It is smaller and looks like crap, but works.
It looks about like the Aerostitch mini compressor only quite a bit more like somebody tore apart some compressor and put the guts in a zippered bag. Came with some tube patches and a tire pressure gauge. So I guess I paid extra for the stainless sticker on the side of that.:lol3

Beats pushing the big fat thing with a flat rear tire.

Here are the install photos of the steering damper... In these photos, you can also see the Touratech steering hard part installed on the Telelever.

I'm prepping the bike for a ride to Death Valley so I replaced the tires with TKC-80 knobbies. I also replaced the stock valve stem with a billet 90 degree angled valve stem. I also installed Dyna-Beads within the tire for rotational balancing. Here are the photos from the front rim and tire...
