I've been trying to find a way to merge these two subjects out of the garage, and on to the road, So I took a little trip down to San Diego and Picked this up. It turned out that Emilio was a 1st class scooter geek, as you can see from this photo. He had pictures of hotted up Italjets on the wall. On a table he had a powertrain from a 58 Lambretta. Can anyone guess the scooter in the picture? Here's another bad shot. Anyways, I let him fill me in the history of scooters, and the pros and cons of Lambrettas over Vespas. The scoot he had even had a remote starter! After the dissertation he let me buy the hack for a more than fair price. Got it home in one piece. I'll wait till daylight to unload it. It looks a little 80's but is in good, clean shape. It has a 13" car tire on it. I think I dunn good. Haven't got a suitable horse to pull it with yet, but I'm sure I'll fall onto something big, old, cheap, and Japanese.
