I bought my Combat Touring Boots in 1998. I am finally about to get them resoled for the first time. And I'm quite happy that RiderWearhouse sells the actual original soles as replacements, so I can get them redone back to OEM-specs . I have worn them to work before. They are scuffed up, but since they're just basic black leather, I'm pretty sure a little black shoe polish and a small amount of elbow grease (and new soles) will have them looking like brand new again shortly. Oh, and actually, I crashed in them once and scuffed up the buckle on one side. But, RiderWearhouse also sells replacement buckles and straps, so I'll be putting those on at the same time as the new soles. So, I think they really will look like brand new.
