i am thinking of taking my 2012 990 smt on a long journey. over 3000 miles of rough canada highway and dirt roads. Any help, suggestions, parts i should be thinking about??

I love riding/touring my KTM950SM on broken roads!
The rough tires and tire plug kit of your choice, a SW-Motech skid plate, Baja Designs lights and some luggage, are all a guy needs for that machine to get some miles of unmaintained secondary roads and smiles!

    Only word of caution:
Alloy rims bend at the bead when they hit square edge, tire swallowing pot holes...DAMHIK

edit: my graphics didn't work too well so I ditched some of them...

which baja lights are those-they look sweet!
    which tires do you recommend?
not sure what you meant about rims. are they durable or gotta watch them?
