I know, an old idea stolen from another site, but still a good one me thinks. I'll start.

Took the revived Katoom out for a 26 mile shake down run this evening, a good bit of which was in varying degrees of sand, from packed to six inch deep soft. It did pretty well, & I can ride around & through the mid-range flat spot.

When I got home I took off the excuse of a silencer. It's not re-packable, so I'm going to cut the front end off, repack it, & have it welded back.

    What did you do?

I cleaned Saturdays mud off my 5hunny, and tried to figure why my horn wont work.

    Then I took a nap.

    It was a hard day.

Got my XR running again after a 3 month hiatus. Needed 2 new gaskets and clutch. So far, so good. Neighbors didn't like me working on my bent pipe mount at 8pm, but at least my fender will hold up now :thumb

ordered a new kickstand, headlight, and tail light for my 300XC, installed new reeds in my WR200R, and got my KX450F ready for its total enduro conversion by taking the wheels off and removing the spokes to be fitted with new black rims including an 18 incher for the rear. excited to get that project finished. hubs are getting powder coated green by a friend.

Researched silencer options today. First, I ain't spendin' a third or more of what I paid for the sled on a stinkin' pipe. But the conversion to a Gixxer 600/750 looks cheap, easy, &...well...cheap & easy. Good performance & sound quality without being loud.
