It might be bearings now that I think about. I managed to drop the wheel on the side of the sprocket. How you check bearings?!

    Thanks

Brother, when I used to drive for Schneider I was never on the road that long! I pulled 4 weeks out I think only one time, but did a weekend layover in Santa Monica CA after a couple weeks out, so it wasn't like 4 weeks of straight driving. The rest of the time I was doin 2-3 wks out at a time. Dang d00d, yer work schedule makes a long-haul truck driver's look easy!:huh Or do ya get to at least come home on weekends?

Gonna miss ya at the Trot...

I come home on weekends when I don't get fucked on flights, or somebody doesn't lose their mind when I turn in my expenses.... I'm in ATL today... Double Tree on Spring St "Warm cookie Mr. Diamond Member? Don't mind if I do :deal".... Let's just say I'm racking up the Hilton Points :nod Won't be staying at a shitbag hotel when I'm on the road this much :nah

Oh, and the Salt and Pepper Trout at Teds right around the corner wasn't too shabby either :tb

Diamond Member, yeah I remember those days. Hilton Garden Inns used to give every Diamond Member a free drink at the bar upon check-in, maybe they still do, my Diamond days are far behind me now. Anyway, a Bombay Sapphire dirty gin martini on the rocks ain't a shabby way to end the workday. The Garden Inns also used to stock Sweetwater Brewery products...it was hard to keep the weight off when I was on the road. The $50/day use-it-or-lose it per diem pretty much ensured that I ate like a king; if I had stayed at GE, I'd be lookin like Fat Bastard from Austin Powers by now.:eyes

Diamond gets a free item from the store, negatory on drinks. I am going to lose Diamond this year, because the new company likes Marriott. I am about to get gold on US Air, I already get first class half the time. It is a nice perk, at the end of a job to be able to stretch and enjoy a free beverage.

Hell I wanna get back to Copper member, or whatever they call the guy that hasn't stayed in a hotel in years.... KLR member? :rofl

Yep, Free drinks, but Nothing in life is free as you well know... They just try to treat you right because you're on the road... Well, that and spending the kind of coin I do with these FF's makes them perk up just a touch when you check in...

Picking up a car at National- Same deal. Jump in and go. Executive Elite Member= No problem, drive whatever you'd like sir. Suburban? Tahoe? Caddy? The heated steering wheel is pretty nice, but the cooled seats are the cats meow in this kind of weather :deal

I've got enough free rental days to just drive a new ride for awhile. Enough hotel points that I ordered a 55" TV, and a chromebook without making a dent... Airline miles? Yes, Thank you for the first class upgrade, and yes, I'd love to be half way in the bag before take off! Keep twisting those cute little tops off those cute little bottles nice lady!

    It's not ALL bad :evil

I don't believe I have the opsked that you do. I really enjoy the travel unless is it over two weeks and not in a totally lame location. Spent last weekend in downtown Lexington, and only had to work four hours. Now that is not typical, but it was a good time.

I am about to do something to my dual sport, so I'll report back later.

Bobby, I usually get a drink and breakfast at HGI's. Also get 500 more points when I eat dinner in the hotel, and spend $25.
I'm platinum on Delta, and IIRC silver on US AIR... That may change when I'm flying to and from Charlotte all the time now.
When it's all said and done I normally target Hilton's, Delta, and National. Corporate rate discounts and all...

Seated properly? Sometimes you really have to pressure UP to get them to POP and seat properly.

As promised, switched power for gps, heated grips, and Led's, Led install, handgaurds, and throttle lock.

May have to make new brackets for the Led's as they are a touch close

Buzz HGI owes me some free drinks! I also like national but there prices are sometimes high. Hertz is my backup.

Guys sorry to keep pestering you with my tire problems. The tire isn't sitting all the way. I've tried everything I can possibly think off. From inflating all the way to trying to help it sit properly with the tire irons to bouncing it full and half way empty. Any ideas? I'm about to take it to the shop bc I don't really know what else to do right now and don't want to pop my new tube either. I'm out of ideas...

    Thanks
    John

I've occasionally had to resort to letting the tire sit overnight with 60PSI to get the bead to seat. That ain't the textbook way to do it but it has always worked. Spray some Windex or Ru-glide down where the bead hasn't seated yet. The "right" way to fix yer problem is to break the bead again, lube thoroughly with Windex/Ru-glide/soapy water, and air back up. Tire mounting is like another activity in a certain way...lube is yer friend, use it generously.:evil

and lock the door so yer stepmom can't walk in

Hey FU do you have GPS tracks for technical riding up there? I have some dual sport stuff, but nothing really challenging.

Went out riding Astatula, Tavares, Mt. Dora, Mt. Plymouth, Sorrento, and Zellwood. Surprised by the amount of 2 lane county roads and opened roads up there. Riding all AGATT is not fun or comfortable but rather a necessary evil. Had to stop a couple of times to cool down.

Your bike is too clean, you need a layer of baked on clay they grade the roads with around here.

Its like free ceramic coating for the exhaust.
