I know the topic says what did you do TODAY, but in my defense the ride spanned from yesterday into the wee hours of today, so it it counts.

Had an awesome, awesome ride to and from DeLeon springs, and got to take the Honda through the roughest stuff it's been in. Like, she's finally a REAL d/s. Puddles were fine, though ONF seems mostly underwater, only dumped it once on account of a vine catching the handlebars. Deep sand and a quickly setting sun finally did me in, my partner was nice enough to guide us back to highway 19 -- and just in time apparently, as I woke up this morning to a very flat front tire!

All vehicles got a deep clean; oil changes next, then on to figure out the best way to deal with this tire.

Hope everyone's having a good time at MXGP!

Sounds like you had a blast. MXGP was (hate to use this overused word) awesome!
USA made a great showing even though some of USA's top riders had various reasons for not competing.
1st & 3rd in 250 class, and 2nd overall in 450 class. RJ Hampshire, Thomas Covington made us proud in 250. Tomac did the same in 450.
But no one can argue that Cairoli can't flat out smoke it in corner speed!

Washed the BMW 800, must have gotten 2 pounds of sand out of it.

Loaded some photos. Most of them weren't great, but this one stood out. In the early moments of second 450 moto, seemed like Cairoli was just riding his own track. So smooth.

His corner speed was crazy fast. He made everyone else look slow.

After working most of the weekend on post-irma cleanup and other needs at the house I went on a short ride today. Here's a couple pics...

Saw this funny sign this morning down near my neighborhood. I know how they feel, we went 5 days without power living on generator but sleeping in an 80+ degree interior. If we only had a portable a/c or window unit we would have been fine, but gave up Thursday night and packed up the fridge and the cats and headed to my Mom's in Mandarin (she never really lost power). We woke up Friday to the news that our power was back, go figure.

The Jun-klx sprung a coolant leak after i put the skid plat and dirt wheels back on.. checked all the hoses for cracks but seems the hose camp got loosened from vibrations.. fixed.

Why does chit happen all at once.
Currently chasing hydraulic problem with clutch on 5hunny and multiple gas issues on the DR.
These damn things actually require attention from time to time. I've had the DR for about 5 years and all of it a sudden it wants to be cleaned and adjusted. Chit!

Its all good. Payback is hell...

All will be good for the Trot!

Yessir there ain't no such thing as a maintenance-free motorcycle, and that's the quintessential truth, Ruth! The Trot is less than 4 wks away, I'm as ready as I'll ever be. Hopefully it'll cool down some by then:knary

i havent done any decent riding.. so this trott thing will be my 1st "outing" in a long time.
and on a side note: the Sumo wheels lower the bike drastically! putting the dirt tires back on the bike feels like its 35" seat height! i have to stretch my leg out like a karate kick to get over that fender.. where i wish i had longer legs so i could "Step" over the seat
