As many have said, thanks for sharing the ride. It had some great info for my trip planning. I hope to do this with my son and daughter when they are old enough.

I will be interested in following your trip to central america regarding the "water for people" project. My wife is Guatemalan and we help with a stove building project for rural Guatemalans. We've been in Guatemala and Nicaragua but never on motorcycle. Crazy place to drive even in a cage.

    Good luck and be safe!

Actually I enjoyed driving down there. The traffic just flows, especially on a bike.

Regarding Honduras, the trip was incredible, but not without issues as a trip like that creates. My plan is to put together a documentary of the trip highlighting both the beauty, the people, and the issues with water supply. But man I have a Terabyte of video to edit :eek10

ok reason number 256 on why you should always write a ride report. Cus you can go back two years later and re-live it. :clap

I just stumbled on this adventure and spent 2 days reading through it. I can't wait to one day do this ride! Thanks to you for creating such a detailed, amazing read/viewing (even thought it was years ago, I'm so glad to have stumbled upon it).

I saw you said you never made it out to CO. I hope you have by now, it's one of my favorite states to ride; endless beautiful back roads to get lost on.

:clap Nice job nice RR, I rode with my brother and another friend we spent 25 days doing a similar trip originating in So. Cal in 2010 to Deadhorse. We took the ferry from Prince Rupert to Vancouver Island that was plenty of time for me on the boat. Can't wait to return for a much longer and slower paced trip to really enjoy the hot springs and various sights. I enjoy reading all the AK RR's, as others have said to read and see the same places through others eyes and experiences. thanks for sharing.:thumb
