Which of the following is a better deal on the following GSA's. My original goal was to only spend $10k but I quickly found that wouldn't be possible. In my search I came across the following.

For me the best deal is value not amount being spent. I also care a lot about how much something will depreciate as I don't usually keep the same bike for more than 2 years at a time (though I did keep my k1200r for 4 !)

Also, on the 07, was enduro transmission standard or optional?

all are very clean road only bikes:

    - 07 with ABS and side panniers for $10,700 w.15k miles
    - 09 with ABS, ASC, ESC panniers, top case and a range of other accessories for $13,800 w.8k miles
    - 10 with ABS, ASC, ESC, panniers and top case for $13,400 w.15k miles
    - 12 with ABS, ASC, ESC, panniers, top case, 18 month warranty for $14,250 w.8k miles

Neither, enduro tranny wasn't available on the '07 GSA.

If the condition is relatively the same, I would go newest my budget would allow.

The 12' looks like the best deal to me. It's more current model, plus in 2 years it will be worth more than the others when you go to sell.

What's the overall condition of each?
This is my opinion, and I'm sticking to it...

I like the 12.. less than 1,000 more than the 10...half the mileage a 18 month warranty..

I'd love to get $10k for my 07.
But it ain't gonna happen. It's not a GSA and I beat the living crap out of it for the last 7 years.

    It was worth every penny:clap

It's common knowledge that the 2007 was the best year for the GSA :D

I would buy a 2012 Yamaha coming on the used market as folks upgrade to the 2014 models.

'09 or the 2012 if you like the colors and your budget likes the bike ...

Those all look like dealer prices ... stick to your budget and go private party ... keep an eye out and you'll something you're happy with and within your budget of $10k.

    Pass on all.

Also went through exactly the same dilema last fall. I ended up with a nicely farkled 2012 GSA with about the same miles. I did however spend a couple thousand more than originally intended, but now glad I did.

+1 = 8 for the '12. The '12 has the camhead engine you will not regret having control over :evil :nod
