My 1150GS is called T.W. for the Tuetonic Warthog. There's just no way it looks pretty.

This is Fugly (cause it was):

This is Cruella (same grey color and angular looks as Cruella Deville, and it was also a pretty cruel mistress):

This is Blossom (think Orange Blossom Special, it pulls like a freight train):

I name my trucks and cars as well. My truck is "Pepe", the Caddy is "Daisy".

Not naming a vehicle is like not naming your pet, they are a member of the family and should be addressed properly.

Not really into naming stuff, but I usually refer to my bikes as that 'piece pile over there' or 'oil leakin sob' or terms of endearment along those lines. My Italian stuff- now thats a different story. I had a two names for my Vespa P200. One was the name of my Italian girlfriend I had when I was in Italy in 1977. I kept that name to myself. My 2001 Moto Guzzi Jackal - what else but Goozfraba.

I think it's a universal fit one...maybe made by MRA? It *might* be this one. http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/934/343/ Came with the bike, though, so don't know for sure off the top of my head. Send me a PM and I'll take a look at her bike and let you know for sure tomorrow.

I had an FXRP at work that I called "Christine" because no one could ride it but me. Three guys tried and 3 guys went to the hospital.

Eloh Nvnohi Soquili, which is Cherokee for “Earth Road Horse” because I couldn’t find a word for pony in the Cherokee language data base page. Mostly she is called “Eloh” for short or any number of other lesser words of Germanic origin when I find that the gas tank must once again be removed to do some trivial task

My former bike was The Flying Pumkin- or "Punkin" for short

Although when I bought her my friend called her "The Rolling Maytag" cause she rattled like an unbalanced dishwasher with the bad tires and shocks on the ride home.

Over all its pretty good- Hard to find a decent DS tire for deTedium. Its only rated to 90MPH on pavement and about 85 it has a little weave to it. I told my wife I guess I wasn't going to be going over 85 any more and she sais "you mean you were before?"

Its got 4K miles on it and looks good- not anywhere near 1/2 worn yet.

Over all it does what one would expect: not quite as tight on the corners as a true steet tire, not as good offroad as a paddle/knobbie but certainly doiable for dirt, gravel, rock and moderate sand.

Mud and deep sand not so much.

After the pony took a dirt nap I read up and think lowering the tire pressure probably would help- I am a big dude and tend towards hooliganism on the street :evil so I keep em pretty tight on the pavement. I need one of those aux air pumps so I can adjust for mud.

I ride Klaudia's twin sister! And damn what a ride she is!

Klaudia and Sophia have made me rethink the naming thing. At least for a beast as sexy as the K!
