    dynojet kit, slipon

~40 mpg, low today of 36, at 3000-6000 ft i get 48 mpg, but loss of power. could be the lack of throttle application on long downhills?

before dynojet i was getting ~50 mpg.

Hard Break In Ride 200 miles 5,000-10,000 RPM approx 27 mpg :eek1 (oh well, was wringing it out)
Now normal 65-75 mph riding 45-50 mpg :D (that's more like it)
Steady 100 mph approx 30 mpg :huh (thought it would be better than that)
Best in CO at altitude 55 mpg (In Colorado, wouldn't have cared what it was but that was the icing on the cake)

*All mph adjusted for Suzuki's stupid 10% optimistic Wee speedo

    Hey Now,

KLR when new 55-60 mpg, after mods and riding harder -- 50 mpg (60-65 mpg on commute); with IMS tank, hitting reserve at 310-325 miles. When I first got the KiLleR I used to short shift between 3500-4000 rpm, now it is more like 5000 rpm after the typical mods, just love flogging the KiLleR :D

Connie 45-50 mpg when learning how to ride her, now 40 mpg (80-85 mph on commute). The gal perks up after 7000 rpm, been playing around that neighborhood for a while now.

I have a 60 mile round trip daily commute.

My '05 1200GS gets mid to high 30's at 80mi/hr. low 40's at 70- 75. mid 40's at 65-70. high 40's 60-65. I have gotten as much as 55 at high altitude riding steady at 45-55. depends on how I ride. If I really need the range, put in 6th and go 45 steady. Best tank was 280 miles.

Mixed riding.... dirt, ranch, interstate, town for the last two tanks in my F650GS Dakar. Results have been almost exacty the same: 59.7 mpg.

    2003 - second owner - purchased with 2800 miles. Now has 4500.

I believe I could get a little better, but I am fairly heavy on the throttle.

I was getting 70mpg at certain points on my trip to Alaska. With knobbies that went down into the low 60s high 50s at times. But still incredible mileage considering the engine size, weight, and wind resistance of a fully loaded bike.
