DR650 and DR200 complement the GS quite nicely.
I think I may have a problem-
Other bikes include:
KTM LC4 640
KTM 530 EXC (a 100 MPH dirtbike)
Ducati S4R (snortn' fun but needs twisty roads to shine)
Kawasaki ZRX 1200R (one of my all time faves) with some noteworthy mods
Kawasaki ZX10R (so fast even on most track's it is overkill)
Honda RC51 (destined to become a classic bike)
Of these, the ZRX is my choice for a GS stablemate but I have ridden the Speed Triple and it would be my choice of the ones you are considering with many of the attributes of the ZRX in a package that weighs 50 pounds less.
This is my small one
My big one.
Better than the new V Strom
I really like having this 1980 R80G/S to compliment my 09 R1200 GSA
Its cool to look at them side by side and appreciate the almost 30 years of evolution between them. The R80G/S is a blast to ride and really nostalgic, but the GSA is king!
I also ride a DR650 often referred to as the chook chaser for short dirt excursions when the GSA's weight and cost to fix factor makes the DR the logical and fun choice.
If I need to run uptown or something, I take my '87 Honda Helix
If my wife is going for a ride, we take our '02 K1200LT/Hannigan 2+2 rig
Like many in this thread, DR650.
After adding RT wheels and Ohlins to the GS, I picked up a Husky TE 630 for the dirt
My dream but I don't own it yet. We spend too much time two up touring
2001 bmw k1200 rs. The othe end of the spectrum !
Hope u like it. I do.....
+1 me too
My KTM 950 complements my BMW every night. I think they're dating...
Which is the make and which is the female? :)
I'd like to find a really nice GS1150........
I don't ask, they don't tell.
And here's their love child... http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=777999 :eek1
