I would love to be someone's guest out there one day just to see what it is like... And if it would be worth it for me to join.

Unfortunately you can not go as a guest due to legal issues. You can however join and in one month(I think) you don't like it, they will refund you. My son and I are going to rejoin.

Rode to work today...then to Wayne's new shop to have my fog lights installed. They'll see me coming down the road now!

By the way, Wayne is liking his new shop location. Doing well working on cars. He can still work on Triumphs if you want to give him the business!

    Moab Utah for this week,

Rode white rim trail CCW Tuesday on my WR. Hauled it to mineral bottom road parking area. Logged 100 miles and 6 hours on it that day. I rode it alone, seen two big bikes, struggling lol, saw a klr riding with a snap Yamaha 230. The rest I saw was jeeps, 2 government vehicles and about 100 bicycles.

Only water I crossed was this and it was deep up to my knees on the WR and sand bottom so keep that power going or you know what's next.

Views were everywhere in a 360 degree direction I stopped a lot and took as many shots as I could time permitting.

Stopped for lunch at the 50 mile mark at the edge of a horse shoe shaped drop off. Very peaceful no one in sight. Poured the 2 20oz msr bottles in the tank at that point. Really unsure if my 3 gal ims tank would go the distance. It did in the end but you never know and being alone you don't want to run out of gas there.

Got up early this morning and rode the Tenere up to Gemini Bridges, road was quite steep and rough but I managed on the big pig. Deep sand was another obstacle but the 804/805 tires handled it fine.

    Yep it's all still there

Rode the La Sal loop road Monday two up on Tenere. Wife enjoyed that. Rode Sand Flats Road two up on tenere and she didn't enjoy that so much lol. Obtained a week pass at slick rock off road and plan to ride that along with fins & things Thursday on WR. Headed to Arches here shortly on Tenere 2 up to do some light hiking and sight seeing with my wife. That should wrap up my weds. Friday I plan all day on WR possibly Kane creek area.

Really need another week but that old thing work gets in the way plus a 2 1/2 day haul back to MS.

After doing Fins and Things in the Jeep, I was curious about doing some of the climbs on a small bike...

Should be easy on a off road bike. When I went to get my pass I was on the S10 and watched a few guys leave out in two WRs and a ktm they had no trouble scooting up the initial steep hill from parking lot. That was at hells revenge. My WR has been perfect for out here absolutely love it! This morning on Genini I came up on 2 moe WRs and Husaberg. Seems the blue yamahas are quite popular in these parts by the local riders. Traction on the slick rock in the dry is outstanding so I should be fine. My stock gearing is a little tight so I can't go but like 50 mph before it starts screaming. I have a smaller rear sprocket with me but hate to sacrifice the short paved rides to the trail heads and lose my low end power. Gotta scream this thing like the YZ250 as it is. Gonna knock out some good stuff tomorrow. Just got in from hiking at arches with the wife, that's out of the way and she's tired so I'm good to go next two days.
